Legal Disclaimer

This legal disclaimer marks the edges of what IPTV Jacom does, and how much weight the guides, articles and channel details on iptvjacom.ca can carry. Read it alongside the terms and conditions. Effective 9 October 2026.

1. What this legal disclaimer covers

Everything published on iptvjacom.ca falls under this disclaimer: service pages, setup guides, blog posts, FAQ answers, channel categories, and the replies our team sends in Live Chat. The binding rules for orders and logins sit in the terms and conditions. Where both pages touch the same subject, read them as one.

2. The nature of the service

IPTV Jacom is an access and support business. Buying a plan gets you a login, help entering it in a player app, and a team that answers questions until the plan ends. We are not a broadcaster, a channel, a cable company or a studio. We produce no shows, set no schedules and edit no footage. The player apps on your screen are built by other companies; we only explain how to set them up.

3. Third-party content and no hosting

Each live channel, film, series and guide listing reachable through a login originates with third-party providers. No video sits on servers that IPTV Jacom runs, and we upload or store none. Because the content belongs to others and travels through others, we cannot vouch for its accuracy, its quality on a particular night, or how long it stays available. Groups on our channel list by category describe kinds of programming; they do not promise that a named network or event is included. Copyright owners have a dedicated route on the DMCA notice page.

4. Your responsibility for local laws

You decide how your login is used, so the duty to stay within the law rests with you: the law of your province, federal law, and the law of any country you visit with the login. Streaming, copyright and broadcasting rules vary between countries and change over time. IPTV Jacom does not declare any particular use lawful, and no sentence on this site is meant as such a statement. The federal Copyright Act is available in full on the Justice Laws website, and our plain-language article on IPTV and Canadian law offers general background. When in doubt, consult a lawyer in your province.

5. No affiliation with device makers, apps, broadcasters or leagues

IPTV Jacom has no partnership, sponsorship or business tie with any device maker, app developer, broadcaster, sports league or team. Brand names like Roku, Samsung, LG, Apple, Google, Amazon Fire TV, TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro appear here only to show which hardware and apps accept our logins and how to configure them. Networks and leagues come up only in neutral, factual context, for example how games are split between broadcasters in Canada. Each trademark belongs to its owner, and naming one does not suggest that its owner backs, approves of or works with IPTV Jacom.

6. Not legal advice

Articles touching on law, consumer rights, privacy or internet providers are general information for a wide audience. They are not legal advice, they create no lawyer and client relationship, and they cannot weigh the details of your situation. For a decision that matters, speak with a lawyer (or, in Quebec, a lawyer or notary) who practises where you live.

7. Guides can go out of date

Our installation guides were correct when written, yet device makers and app developers revise their software often. Menus move, buttons get renamed, and an app can disappear from a Canadian app store, or return, with little warning. Each guide shows the date it was written or last revised. When a step and your screen disagree, a support agent in Live Chat can talk you through the current layout, and we revise the guide once the change is confirmed. Prices quoted in older blog posts can also lag behind; the subscription plans page always carries the current figures.

8. Figures and descriptions on this site

Numbers such as 55,000+ live channels and 250,000+ on-demand titles are approximate. They move up and down as providers add, rename or retire items, so treat them as a fair picture of size rather than an exact count. The 99.9% uptime figure is a target, not a measured record or a promise. Picture quality labels apply only where the source allows: a channel streams in 4K only when the broadcast itself exists in 4K. Internet speeds quoted in our guides are rules of thumb for planning, not measurements of your own line, which depends on your provider, your Wi-Fi and the hour of the day.

9. Outside links

Several pages point to outside websites, such as government sources, app stores or a manufacturer's help pages, because those hold the official word. We do not run those sites, cannot answer for their content or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Check the address before downloading anything, and download apps only through the official store for your device whenever one exists.

10. Limitation of liability

The website and everything on it are offered as they are, with no promise that the information is complete, current or fit for your purpose. To the extent your province's law allows, IPTV Jacom is not liable for loss arising from reliance on this site, from a third-party app or device, or from material supplied by third-party providers. Limits that apply to paid plans are in section 13 of the terms, and statutory consumer rights remain untouched.
