Privacy Policy
What IPTV Jacom collects when you visit iptvjacom.ca, order an IPTV subscription, request a free trial or write to us in Live Chat, where it goes, how long we keep it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law. Effective 9 October 2026.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
IPTV Jacom is the name you see on iptvjacom.ca and on our support channels. This policy covers the website, its forms and checkout, the Live Chat window on our Live Support page (served by our support server at supportiptv.ca), and email sent to help@supportiptv.ca. Using the site means you accept it together with our terms and conditions.
2. What you give us in forms
Four forms exist on this site, and each asks only for what the task needs.
- Checkout: plan, screens, channel package, first-time or extending (with an optional username), full name, email and mobile number.
- Free trial: name, email, phone, the device and app you will use, and your province.
- Reseller request: name, email, phone, panel size, how many customers you serve, and a message.
- Contact form: name, email, topic and message.
When you press send, a small program on Cloudflare (the company that hosts this site) forwards the entry to a Google Apps Script web app, which emails it to our support team. It may also post a short alert to a private Telegram channel the team reads on their phones. The note includes the page you were on, the time in Eastern time, and the country Cloudflare detected from your connection. Nothing is written to a database on this website. If delivery fails, the page offers a button so you can email the details yourself.
The checkout also keeps your order in your own browser for 48 hours so you can return to the payment step. That copy never leaves your device unless you submit.
3. Payment information
You pay by Interac e-Transfer from your own banking app. The transfer is received by ITLOGY LLC (support@waitly.ca), the payment processor that accepts payments on behalf of IPTV Jacom. We see what your bank shows the recipient: the sender's name, the amount, the date and the memo, which should hold your order number. We never see a card number, a bank login or a password, and no page on this site asks for them. ITLOGY LLC keeps payment records for accounting, as Canadian law requires. The IPTV subscription page explains the ordering steps.
4. Anonymous click and form events
When you tap a button such as Start Free Trial, open the checkout, click Live Chat or send a form, your browser sends a tiny record to this site. It holds seven things: the event name (for example trial_click), the page address, the button label, the plan if the button named one, a random session number created for that browser tab, the two-letter country code Cloudflare detected, and whether the device is a phone or a computer. No name, no email, no IP address and no cookie. Records go into a Cloudflare D1 database and show us which pages and buttons help people. A daily job deletes every record older than 25 months. The same anonymous record may also be forwarded to Google Analytics 4 through its server-side interface, with personalised ads switched off.
5. Page views and speed
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and measures loading speed (Core Web Vitals) without cookies and without building a profile of you. We only ever see totals, such as how many people read a setup guide this week.
6. Checks that a person sent the form
Every form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. It reads signals from your browser to decide whether a person, not a script, pressed send, and shows a small check box only when unsure. For that check, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy terms. Three simpler guards also run: a hidden field only bots fill in, a timer that rejects forms sent within two seconds of opening the page, and a counter that allows eight submissions per connection in ten minutes, then forgets the count.
7. Live Chat on supportiptv.ca
You sign in to Live Chat with your mobile number. Your browser then builds a device code: a one-way hash of your browser type and language, screen size and time zone, mixed with a random value that stays only in that browser, so nobody can work out your code from a phone model alone. The support server also sees the IP address of your connection. These three things let the server recognise a returning customer and reopen the conversation without a new code. A new device must confirm with an emailed code or be approved by the team. Your messages, attached files and a sign-in token stay on the support server so the conversation continues where you left it. Ask us at any time to delete that history.
8. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party trackers. It uses browser storage for three practical things: the random session number (cleared when you close the tab), your unfinished checkout order (48 hours), and your Live Chat phone number, sign-in token and device code (until you clear them). Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie of its own on Cloudflare's domain during a check, and Cloudflare's security service may set a short-lived cookie when it checks that a visitor is a person. The cookie notice remembers your choice in browser storage (jacom-consent). If you choose Essential only, the anonymous click events and the cookie-free page-view statistics are switched off, while checkout and Live Chat keep working. Your browser's site data settings remove all of this, and clearing them shows the notice again.
9. Why we use your information
We use what you give us to create or extend your login and send it to you, to match your Interac payment to your order, to answer your questions, to prevent fraud and abuse, to improve the pages people use most, and to meet legal duties such as keeping accounting records. Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), we rely on the consent you give when you submit a form or start a chat. We use your information for no other purpose without asking first.
10. Who can see your information
Only team members who need it to serve you can see your details. A few service providers process data for us: Cloudflare (hosting, forms, bot checks, analytics and the events database), Google (the Apps Script web app that sends the email), Telegram (team alerts), ITLOGY LLC (payments) and our support server at supportiptv.ca (Live Chat). IPTV Jacom does not host, store or upload video content; streams come from third-party providers, and we share with such a provider only what it needs to create or extend a login. We never sell or rent personal information, and we disclose it to authorities only when Canadian law requires.
11. Transfers outside Canada
Cloudflare and Google run worldwide networks, so your information may be processed on servers outside Canada, for example in the United States or the European Union. Telegram also runs its servers abroad. While your information is in another country, the courts and authorities there may be able to reach it. We choose providers with strong security commitments and remain responsible for your information under PIPEDA wherever it is processed.
12. How long we keep information
- Form emails: as long as needed to deliver and support your subscription, then removed in regular clean-ups.
- Payment records: as long as Canadian tax and accounting rules require, generally about six years.
- Anonymous events: 25 months, then deleted automatically.
- Live Chat history: while your account is active, and sooner if you ask us to delete it.
- Browser storage: under your control; clear it any time.
13. Security
Every page and form on this site runs over HTTPS. The keys that let the form program send email are stored as Cloudflare secrets, not in the website code. Access to form emails and chat history is limited to the support team. The Live Chat device code is hashed and salted, and card details never touch the site because you pay from your own bank. No system is perfect, so tell us right away in Live Chat if you think your login or your details have been misused.
14. Your rights under PIPEDA
You can ask us, at any time and free of charge, to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, unless a legal duty requires us to keep part of it (for example a payment record).
- Withdraw consent to a use you no longer agree with. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service.
We answer within 30 days. To protect you, we ask that you write from the email address or phone number you used with us. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, which oversees PIPEDA. The full Act is on the Justice Laws website.
15. Children
The service is for adults. You must be 18 or older to order, request a trial or use Live Chat, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has sent us a form, write to help@supportiptv.ca and we will delete the entry.
16. Changes to this policy
When the way the site handles information changes, we update this page and the date at the top, and a clear note flags any change that matters, such as a new service provider. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
17. How to contact us
The quickest route is Live Chat, open every day, 9 a.m. until midnight ET, in English and French. You can also email help@supportiptv.ca or use the contact page. Refund questions are answered in the refund policy, and what we do not control is explained in the legal disclaimer.
